Raw material feeding: Select qualified carbon steel or alloy steel bars or round billets and precisely cut them to the specified weight; Medium-frequency heating: Raise the temperature to the forging temperature range (1100–1250°C) to ensure the steel possesses good plasticity; Pre-forging punching: Perform upsetting and flattening, followed by punching a pre-formed central hole to create an annular pre-formed billet; Ring rolling and expansion / Spinning forming: The billet is subjected to pressure and rotation between a specialized ring-rolling machine and a CNC spinning machine; through the combined radial and axial rolling action, the wall thickness is reduced and the diameter is increased as the metal flows and deforms along the wheel's contour, forming the wheel rim and spokes as a single unit; Controlled temperature cooling + Heat treatment: Normalizing or tempering to refine the grain structure and eliminate internal forming stresses; Initial inspection of the blank: Perform non-destructive testing and dimensional verification before proceeding to the precision machining stage. This process relies fundamentally on the plastic flow and forming of the metal, rather than joining or welding; the metal fiber flowlines perfectly align with the load-bearing direction of the wheel.
