The main shaft of the rotary tiller-crusher, also known as the rotary tillage and crushing blade shaft, serves as the core power-bearing and transmission component for integrated farmland tillage and straw crushing systems. All crushing blades and their mounting bases are installed on this shaft, which acts as the critical load-bearing structure connecting the gearbox's power output while withstanding soil impact, straw entanglement, and stone impacts. The design consists of three sections: a power input spline section, an intermediate tool holder mounting and support section, and bearing-supported shaft necks at both ends. It is available in two types: a solid forged spindle (for heavy-duty deep-tillage machines) and a thickened seamless through-shaft (for standard rotary tillage and crushing machines), designed to interface with tractor PTO power output while withstanding combined stresses of torque, radial bending, and impact loads, thereby determining the equipment's soil fragmentation efficiency, straw crushing performance, and service life.

The main body features a robust, impact-resistant construction made of forged/thinned seamless 42CrMo alloy steel with sufficient toughness achieved through quenching and tempering heat treatment. The journal and spline surfaces are hardened for wear resistance, enabling it to withstand impacts from rocks and hard soils while exhibiting excellent resistance to bending, torsion, and cracking.
The low-stress structural design features enlarged arc transitions at the shoulder and step sections to eliminate stress concentrations; the tool holder mounting section is integrally formed, eliminating the risk of joint weld fractures; the spline adopts a national standard involute profile, ensuring non-slip transmission and no key rolling.
The spiral uniform distribution layout accommodates the standard spiral tool holder mounting position reserved on the spindle, with blades arranged in an interlocking spiral pattern. This ensures balanced axial force distribution during operation, significantly reducing overall machine vibration and minimizing fatigue wear on one side of the spindle.
The journal features high-precision fit at both ends with precision grinding, offering stringent tolerances suitable for heavy-duty spherical bearings. Working principle

Power Input: The tractor's Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft delivers power, which is reduced in speed and torque by a gear transmission and transmitted via spline engagement to drive the main shaft's rotation. Torque Transmission: The main shaft continuously delivers high torque, driving the axially spiral arranged crushing blades to rotate at high speed. Frictional Force During Crushing: The blades cut through soil layers, straw, and root stubble; soil particles and straw exert counteracting impact forces and torsional forces on the blades, all of which are transmitted to the main shaft. The main shaft utilizes its alloy steel rigidity and arc-shaped shoulder design to distribute stress, ensuring stable continuous rotation. Continuous Soil Turning and Returning: Uniform main shaft rotation drives the blades to perform cutting, soil turning, and straw crushing; the spiral arrangement ensures uniform force distribution, reduces unilateral load eccentricity, and enables simultaneous operations of soil turning, soil turning, and straw crushing. Support and Protection: Bearing housings at both ends of the main shaft provide positioning support; a dust-proof and anti-tangle sealing structure prevents soil and straw ingress, avoids journal wear and seizure, and ensures long-term continuous operation.

1.
