Working principle
Material drops from the upper hopper into the screw feed chamber, where rotating screw flights push it forward;
The screw continuously compresses the material, forming a dense material seal at the discharge section that prevents high-pressure gas from backflowing into the hopper (acting as an air lock);
The screw pushes the material into the positive-pressure conveying chamber, where compressed air is introduced; the material is entrained by the airflow and conveyed under positive pressure through the pipeline to the discharge point;
A separator at the discharge end separates the material from the gas, allowing the gas to vent while the material is discharged.
In summary: The screw creates a material seal to lock the air, while compressed air conveys the material under positive pressure.
