Working principle
The motor drives the sand roller to operate at high speed, which is coated with a highly wear-resistant flexible sand belt for high-speed rotational friction. The sand frame is equipped with floating buffer cylinders that automatically retreat when encountering plate protrusions and press down on concave areas to ensure full coverage of both smooth and uneven surfaces during flexible grinding, thereby overcoming the limitation of conventional rigid sanders that can only grind flat surfaces while failing to adequately process irregularities.
Equipped with an optical automatic oscillating alignment system, the sand belt undergoes slight back-and-forth oscillation from left to right, enabling cross-oriented grinding that eliminates surface texture patterns and ensures more uniform grinding in concave and convex dead zones.
The fixed-thickness leveling system features independently pneumatic-adjustable upper and lower sand frames, with digital scales for precise control of grinding clearance. It removes surface protrusions according to specified thickness standards, ensures uniform plate thickness, and simultaneously smooths concave areas.
The dust collection system features a fully enclosed dust chamber with dual suction ports at the top and bottom, simultaneously removing ground-dusted rock wool fibers. It is equipped with an external pulse-jet dust removal fan to ensure dust-free operation and prevent fiber dispersion that could contaminate the workshop.
After completion of material shaping and grinding, the plates are automatically conveyed by the belt. Surface irregularities on both sides are eliminated simultaneously, resulting in smooth surfaces with uniform thickness, enabling direct progression to the subsequent lamination process.
Product Features
The flexible floating sand frame features a cylinder-buffered floating grinding mechanism specifically designed for uneven plate surfaces, capable of adapting to surface height differences within ±15 mm. It effectively grinds both bulged, concave, and wavy plates without issues such as missed areas or localized excessive grinding that could damage rock wool boards.

The variable-frequency, stepless speed-regulating sand belt and plate conveying speeds can be independently adjusted via frequency conversion. Low-density soft rock wool is processed with low-speed light grinding, while high-density hard rock wool requires high-speed heavy grinding, making it suitable for materials of varying hardness.
